I had tried Canadian 1968 Quarters (50/50 Cu/Ag) in an electrorefining cell; I got pure silver snowflakes on the anode side. And I got some weird brown foamy substances on the cathode. I also got a gray, puffy substance on the anode side as well, that I have yet to melt and see what it is.
